Essentials of Total Equanimity

Have you been faced with a difficult situation where you can't keep calm? Such a situation is only a mirage of the mind. Calmness is cultivated and once accustomed to, helps retrain the sanity of the mind, body and breathe. If one loses calm, the whole body, breathe and mind is in disarray.

The origin of the word 'Equanimity' is Latin and it means "Equal Mind". Equanimity according to the Wikipedia is a state of psychological stability and composure which is undisturbed by experience of or exposure to emotions, pain, or other phenomena that may cause others to lose the balance of their mind. This definition drives home the point that equanimity is achieved after so many efforts or practice. The question to ask is, 'how can one achieve calmness and composure, especially in a difficult situation?'

The mind is the central processing unit of the body, consisting of the brain and spinal cord. The composure of the mind begins with the reorientation of the mind in response to different situations. The breathe has a way of influencing the mind to either be unstable, relaxed or focused. In trying times, the mind must synchronize with the breathe to keep a calm physical outlook. This synchronicity is only achievable after repeated training as the instinct has to be tamed to avoid rash impulsive actions.

The practice of the personal massage therapy is extremely beneficial to the attainment of tranquility in the face of difficulties. The environment has so many negativity engulfing it and the practice of this therapy helps calm the mind, body and breathe. The body is expected to react to pain, grief, anxiety and other negativity with impulse. But constant practice of this therapy reduces impulsive actions which the person may later regret.

The mind and body should be prepared for surprises just the same way the breathe leaves a man unexpectedly. The preparation for the unexpected is necessary to avoid extreme shocks that can negatively affect the body system, mind and the essence of existence. The regulation of the breathe is therefore very essential in the practice of mindfulness, personal massage therapy and collaborative massage therapy. Getting the body accustomed to intensive fitness routines keeps the mind, body and breathe at alert for dangerous situations and the experience of the regulated breathing patterns shield the heart from cardiac injury when exposed to shocks.

The personal massage therapy instills calmness and balance of the mind and is a sure route to the attainment of equanimity. For more information on the Personal Massage Therapy, kindly contact the Admin on towbie007@gmail.com

The Stability of the Mind begins with the Breathe

The blood circulation in humans is fueled by the exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide in the respiratory system. The whole body depends on this mechanism just the same way the existence of plants depend on the exchange in a reverse mode to humans'.

For humans to maintain concentration, there must be a correlation in the exchange that occurs during respiration. If the inhale is longer than the exhale, fatigue may set into the brain making the mind lose focus or attention. If the exhale is longer than the inhale, distractions can be bridled and the stability of the mind is one step away. When the length of inhale is proportional to the length of exhale, the mind is said to be in a state of bliss. In this state, the mind is fully anchored on the object of concentration. The distractions encountered in this state are such that would first alter the tempo and duration of the breathe before concentration is partially or totally lost.

In Personal Massage Therapy, the control of breathe is the primary focus to the attainment of a healthy mind and body. If the mind is unsettled, proportional flows of breathe within a dedicated amount of time would be extremely beneficial to the mind. The brain needs as much oxygen as every other parts of the body and a steady supply of it with concentration is a way of teaching the brain to maintain a steady and even flow of breathe even when one is not paying attention to the breathing.

The golden tip for today is the fact that one can reduce anxiety, nervousness and impulsive actions with the practice of mindfulness. Mindfulness sessions require experienced and dedicated instructors to get the most benefits of the breathing exercises.

Mindfulness as a tool for attaining Cardiovascular Well-being

Exercises done to enhance the workings of the respiratory system are very delicate and can lead to long term decline in respiration if not properly supervised. Unlike outdoor activities, Personal Massage Therapy requires total concentration and dedication while being mindful of the past, present and future actions during the exercises.

Mindfulness as a distinct art cuts across various disciplines from the Arts, Sciences and the Humanities. In Art, a student is taught to perform an act over and over again until it's committed to his or her memory. In Sciences, abstract topics are brought to the student in concrete form to enable him or her commit such items or topics to memory.

In personal massage therapy, the mindfulness of the breathe flow or exchange of Oxygen and Carbon dioxide in the body is the starting point. Making sure that the respiratory organs are well massaged is the focus of mindfulness in this therapy. Mindfulness awakens the instinct in the mind giving one the ability to have a right judgement and premonition at any given time.

Have you been losing concentration while in a meeting, discussing in a group, or partaking in an activity? Mindfulness is your cheapest remedy without any side-effect. Mindfulness at the primary stage is matching the number of seconds you inhale, with the number of seconds you exhale. A complete session of this therapy will involve a cycle of 33 even inhales and exhales each.

Having a complete therapy session would increase blood circulation and clear the respiratory channels. It increases concentration and boosts both the logical and creative parts of the brain. A sound sleep is assured and regulation of the blood pressure is guaranteed if the therapy is religiously followed.

I hope you have been enlightened on the benefits of mindfulness. For more information, consultation and bookings, kindly contact the page Admin on towbie007@gmail.com.
